Ammonia High Range Reagents (300 tests) - HI93733-03
In stock
The HI93733-03 are reagents for the colorimetric determination of ammonium (NH4). There are enough reagents for 300 tests to be used with Hanna's compatible portable photometer. These high quality reagents are manufactured in our state-of-the-art facility and are clearly marked with the lot number and expiration date on each bottle for traceability.
Pre-made reagents for ease of use
Prepared with high purity chemicals
Marked with expiration date and lot number for traceability
The HI93733-03 are high quality reagents that are pre-measured, allowing for users to achieve fast and accurate colorimetric measurements. These reagents follow the Nessler Method in which the reaction between ammonia and reagents causes a yellow tint in the sample. By simply adding the reagents to the sample, the reaction between ammonia and reagents causes a yellow tint in the sample will take place. The intensity of color is determined by a compatible photometer and the concentration will be displayed. The results will be displayed in ppm (mg/L) of ammonium (NH4+) but can easily be converted to ammonia-nitrogen (NH3-N) or ammonia (NH3). These reagents are designed to be used with samples that have an expected range of 0.0 to 100.0 ppm ammonium.
